A Holistic One Stop Solution – Masons Home Decor
Masons Home Decor is an online furniture store selling solid wood furniture and home decor products. On top of that, they happen to be the specialists when it comes to Christmas related products for the home! They proclaim to be the best Christmas store in Singapore, and we can understand why.
Christmas Trees: They have 9 type of Christmas trees in total, all available in heights of 5, 6, 7, and 8 feet. The do have the conventional trees like everyone else, but what caught our attention was their Hyper-Realistic Christmas trees. They look very much like their real life options, and they are not too expensive too. You could get a 6 foot (1.8 metre) realistic tree at just $149 if you purchase from them during their early bird promo in the period of September and October. All of their trees come hinged, which results in easy set up, and promised longevity. They also have a White, Pink, and Gold variant of a Christmas tree which we found very amusing!
Ornaments: They have more than 500 types of ornaments for sale. They look very premium, and we truly believe that they have the ability to allow us create a very ‘five star hotel’ type of effect. Prior to visiting them, we never knew such ornaments ever existed! Their Tree Picks start from $3.90 per piece, Baubles from $6.90 for a box of 6, and Star Tree Topper from $12.90 for a beautiful glittery one.
Convenience: Ordering from their website seems really easy. They provide same day 90 minute express delivery, free next day delivery, and can be conveniently found at an office building in Jln Pemimpin, which is roughly a 5 minute walk from Marymount MRT.
Service: There is a live chat function on their website which is nice. They are also contactable via What’s App. Their walk-in sales staff are also friendly, knowledgeable, and give great advice on helping you achieve your desired look!
Cons: Their cheapest tree is $49 for a 5 ft tree. Because all of their trees are dense and manufactured using the hinged technology, finding something with an entry level pricing may not be possible here. Also, it is really crowded on weekends.
Address: 39A Jln Pemimpin #03-01C, Halcyon Building, Singapore 577183

Operating Hours: 11 am to 7 pm Daily for the months of October, November, and December. It’s best to check their website for updates.
Convenient for Grocery Shoppers – NTUC Fairprice and GIANT
NTUC Fairprice and Giant Supermarket do not need any introduction. For readers who have just relocated to Singapore, these two establishments are major supermarkets with many outlets across the city. They have adopted the ‘Hypermart’ concept whereby some outlets are not only huge in size, but they sell literally everything. From products ranging from your usual groceries, to electronics such as televisions, washing machines, and even air conditioners!
Regardless the outlet, every one of them would have Christmas trees and decorations for sale. This serves as great convenience because most households would need to visit these supermarkets to do their grocery shopping. At the same time, they can view the tree, and buy one on the spot! As the trees are less dense, the boxes are also very light and manageable, measuring at approximately 20 x 20 x 100 cm!
Christmas Trees and Ornaments: They do have a decent variety but it is best to visit the larger ‘hypermarts’ such as the NTUC Fairprice at NEX in Serangoon or AMK Hub in Ang Mo Kio for a wider spread of selection.
Convenience and Service: Having so many of these supermarkets spread all over Singapore, it is convenient enough to visit the one closest to you. Service wise, should you visit during non peak hours and days, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Otherwise, it may be difficult to get a query answered!
Cons: Perfect for families looking to purchase a budget Christmas tree that is decent. This solution however, would not be a great one if you are looking for more realistic or larger trees.
